The seal ring is the general term of the moving ring and the static ring, which is the main component of mechanical seal.The sealing ring determines the performance and life of mechanical seal to a large extent, so it makes some demands on it sufficient strength and stiffness: under working conditions, the deformation should be as small as possible, and the working conditions can remain sealed when the conditions are fluctuating.In particular, the seal face should have sufficient strength and corrosion resistance to ensure satisfactory service life.
1.Good thermal shock resistance: for this reason, the material has a 
high thermal conductivity and small linear expansion coefficient, which can withstand thermal shock without cracking.
2.The smaller friction coefficient: the sealing ring should match the smaller friction coefficient.
3.Good self - lubrication: short - time dry friction at work without damaging the sealing end.Therefore, the sealing ring should have good self-lubrication, sealing ring material and sealing fluid have good infiltration.
4.Simple structure: the sealing ring structure should strive to simple symmetry, give priority to with the overall structure, can also be combined, such as set mounted sealing ring, avoid to use the seals spray type structure.
